After graduating from Traverse City High School, I enrolled at Northwestern Community College, where a friend asked me to join the U.S. Marine Corps with him. We arrived at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot San Diego and became Marines. 
After honorably serving my country, I went back to college and met the love of my life, an 18-year-old Joan. Shortly after, we were married on Mackinaw Island. I graduated with honors from Lansing Community College, and magna cum laude with the Walter Poole Award from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. We started a family and had two beautiful and now successful daughters. When our youngest daughter began preschool, Joan wanted to continue her college. Eight years later she earned her Doctor of Psychology. I served families as a Funeral Director in a family funeral home. Also, I was able to serve others as a Manager for MetLife and Cook Agency.
I became interested in the stock market and researched the firm Edward Jones. I was very impressed how they could help people with an array of investments and personalized financial plans for reaching goals. I had personally done this with my own family. I joined the Edward Jones team to help others do what I did for my own family. In turn, I not only helped my girls reach success, but many of my clients and their children/grandchildren. Just as important, retirement planning is the heart and soul of my practice. Also, I am a limited partner with the firm.

I have always had a love for writing. In 2018 I started putting lyrics to melodies and vice versa, first in my head then eventually learning to record digitally. I sensed God was trying to lead me, so I took advantage of being very close to a professional music and audio company in Fort Wayne, IN named Sweetwater. I trained and learned as much as I could from them and tutorials on music production, songwriting, DAW technology, theory, arranging, composing, mixing and mastering. I had been taking online theology courses through Notre Dame and I apply many of the Christian principals from my studies to my lyrics. This was all done in my spare time. I did give up TV to capture time and help accomplish my goals.
Throughout all of this, I give God the glory, as He has been the center of my life. I realize how He has blessed me with the best clients/friends to serve. I am grateful for the opportunities to serve in many different ways throughout my life. I use that life experience now to help others reach a secure retirement, enjoy it and deploy wealth strategies to sustain their legacy within their family. Those same life experiences assist me in music production. Furthermore, I give back within the community and now through Gregorian Studios. 

Last but not least, I want to mention our Shipoo, Piper she has been a blessing. She has inspired many songs and helps comfort us in the daily grind of business and life. Many of my songs were begun while Piper and I were on our walks.  

My hobbies are golf, theology, sports, music and fitness.
